DB3000A Above Desk Unit

The DB3000A ADU range has been designed to satisfy the growing requirement for desktop connectivity, typically for “Hot Desking” environments. The units are offered in a combination of 2, 3, and 4 power and data options, and can be offered with Cat5E or Cat6 data sockets and cables installed. Alternatively the unit can be offered for site data termination by your data installer. Power cords are offered with UK plugtop or Wieland style ST18/3 connector.

The unit compliments the DB2000 socket strip range and uses the same M/T socket receptacle with spring terminal technology.

Standard finish features a silver anodised extruded aluminium base, black textured EPC socket mounting fascia and moulded end caps with integral strain relief.

System Benefits:

• Attractive extruded aluminium construction allows client specific custom designs up to 2.6 metres in length.
• Octagonal MT sockets can be dressed at 45-degree increments and socket inversion for wall mounting.
• Power entry, with integral strain relief, allows cables to be dressed to the rear or side.
• Data entry satisfies the requirements of Cat6.
• Socket and bezel colour options allow colour coding for circuit differentiation.
• Screw-less socket wiring terminals prevent loose cables which can caused by vibration, thermal cycling or “cold copper creep”
• Optional thermal switch breaker protection negates the requirement for replacement fuses.
• Supplied with cost effective self-adhesive mounting strips that provide, secure fixing. Alternatively units can be supplied with a variety of clamps and slat wall brackets.

Standard Products:
The modular design of DB3000A allows a wide variety of power / data / length combinations. In addition to the two most common combinations shown below, Aphel can supply Schuko, French and other international power sockets, Cat6 data outlets or unpopulated cut-outs, and different lead lengths and plugs.
